My Letter to the Queen

Dear Queen Elizabeth,

I wish to write on behalf of majority of Ghanaians that indeed we have missed you as our colonial masters. In fact we told you people that we are capable of handling and managing our own affairs but we are sorry to say we lied. After the death of the only man you helped put up the basic infrastructures that has been it. We have have seen development at a snail speed in our country. 56yrs down the line and we are mostly depending on the same thing that "brilliant" man set up.

You know we have gold right but you can come and have a good look at Tarkwa and Obuasi where gold has been mined for more than 50yrs yet even these 2 towns can't boast of a Johannesburg status. In short we still haven't been able to do much about that metal which has transformed economies.

We don't just have gold oo,we have bauxite, diamonds, timber and a host of others yet we can't make good use of any to develop this country you left us and oh oh I almost forgot we have recently discovered oil "black gold" too but trust me the story is already beginning to look same. You know we have some refinery right ,well last we heard it can only refine palm kernel oil "adwingo" and not the oil we have found so we are exporting the oil to some countries to refine and we couldn't even have an agreement so we will be their first option to sell the finished products.

Seriously Queen, you and Dave Cameron should sit down and see how best you can help us cuz yebree paa(its is not well) . I know now obia de ne fie asem but maame enkoyie koraaa(u are minding your business but we need help)
No water,no light and these are basic amenities oo and no aviation fuel,Telecoms are rationing services too on a luxury level.

Help we need but let me also sound this note of caution oo,the Ghanaian you knew then is not the same now so we can't be slaves . We have very fine brains and capable men and women but the problem is with our attitude. Too many selfish and hungry bunch in power so we keep marking time.

Our eyes open well well but still maame hu y3 mcbc kakra wai na may3 abrofc kakra na cmc mb3 solve y3 case mma yen cuz these leaders we have are only solving their personal problems not the country. They are all stealers madam. I will end here but sorry for my language mix up with yours cuz am still learning yours since 1957 .

Thank you

RESPECT EACH OTHER IN A GROUP.

These musicians must get it,if you come in solo and get accepted great! If you form a duo or a trio and come into the limelight you dont have to ever think that you are better than the other and neither should you listen to the "jazz" from friends and media to go solo. If you have the conviction to make it solo like Beyonce did with destiny's child then fine but just look at Bukbak,Praye and WUTAH.

Bright of Bukbak was made to think he is better and can do the solo when indeed the 2 made the group what it came to be appreciated as BUKBAK.He went solo and got this "CONDOM" track which didnt even get to Tamale then it died out but they came back to do KOLOM and it got some air play and got some award.
This same story can be said about Praye and Wutah too. I just dont know who sometimes advices these people and if its greed to then they seriously need some rethinking.

The recent attack is on the R2Bs duo;am hearing a lot of people say Paedae Da Pralem is no better rapper and a whole lot of nonsense. This guy is behind the whole R2Bs formation and he plays his role in every track they release but unfortunately people think Mugeez does all the work. This is what can break this group up easily if they dont quickly nib this in the bud. Birdman aka Bryan Williams of Cash Money Records koraa raps. That is not to say Paedae's rap lines are all great listening(I mean what is is it with the life is like Davido and Whizkid bit) but who cares if the track in totality is worth listening to.  Am i seeing something in the Music Awards nominations where Mugeez has been nominated separately while Asem and Kwabena Kwabena are in that same category. What stops them from just nominating R2Bs but rather single out Mugeez. Something is definitely wrong somewhere

The public should just get off the backs of these musical duo or trio groups.

The craze for needless and useless titles

Professor this professor that,Emeritus this,Dr that,Engineer this and yet we find ourselves in this mess.
All we know in this black continent of ours is acquisition of useless titles to boost our self esteem. Dont we have too many competent heads that should be brainstorming to get us off this mess? What do they do?Write all the huge books.

You have this from Harvard,Yale,Cambridge and so what? You are getting an MBA because it is the new craze after a degree now and perhaps after it you might get some promotion and then what? You have not even been able to do any practical thing with the degree yet we have to add on the titles.

Our Universities are teaching us all the theories but you come to the field and you realize its a different ballgame. Now you wonder why they haven't sat down to review the curriculum and tailor it to our needs .

A whole electrical Engineer from KNUST cant even identify a blown fuse in his own car but will send it to that way side electrician aka a Feeters and this person has not seen how useless his education is and he is going further to pursue an MBA.

Just a few thinking outside the box,the rest are all just earning salaries and seeking for titles.

Whose fault? The system i guess.

Same script,different presidents

Same scripts read by different presidents. They tell us what our problems are and admit their faults, what they want to do and you hear the cheers and boos and bam that is the state of the nation's address.

Pragmatic solutions don't really form part of the address. Mark it on the wall if the president gets to stay in power and gets the opportunity to do this again it won't be any different.

The true state of Ghana is that we have been taken for a ride too long by the politicians but suddenly we are waking up and asking for more.

I can't be impressed because the president can express himself so he was able to string words together. That would mean am a stack illiterate hearing good English for the first time.

As for the MPs who sat there and say yah yah to promises like free laptops, they should bow their heads in shame and imagine themselves in the US house of senates and Obama telling them that and see how disgraceful that will sound. That laptop dash was indeed not a necessary part of the state of the nation's address but I guess we have a populist President so it felt good telling us all that. That to me was like telling us he will buy free panties for the Lordina.

Who needs to hear all that?

Oya let's go and work.

Woman wake up

Via Becky Afottey

From a woman to women

"When a real man finds a wife in you he will never let you go, this is guaranteed"

...The race to marry a BIG BOY is what is now in vogue. Most ladies nowadays can't function if there is no cash involved. The urge for material things has changed the STORY OF LOVE. Do NOT make money your only priority when choosing your spouse, only spend it when necessary. There's more to marriage than money alone. A man with a good heart is better than a rich man with the heart of a beast. Most women say they want security in life so they won’t date the poor, I know so many Carpenters and Bricklayers that have built their house and feed their families through their hard working but girls hardly look their side. If he's not rich today doesn't mean he will be poor for life as long as he is ambitious. The happiness and security of your life is YOUR responsibility. Those who choose never to endure at all may have to suffer for long. Getting married to the rich doesn't guarantee happiness in life. HAPPINESS IS PRICELESS. Perhaps those who say they will rather cry inside a Range Rover Sports than laughing on a bicycle have never experienced pain in their life. Some relationship mistakes can cause life regrets. Many young women have blindly turned themselves to TEST DRIVE VEHICLE for the love of material things. What qualified you as great woman is not in designer Prada shoes and Gucci bags. It’s in your good heart, good characters and real personality. When a real man finds a wife in you he will never let you go, this is guaranteed. It’s funny how material women blame men for breaking their heart and conclude men are the same. A man who wins your love with cash may not stay for long. Real men don't settle down with fake women, they might be your temporary server but they'll leave as soon as the coast is cleared. THE ONLY PLACE YOU CAN FIND A FAKE WOMAN IS TEMPORARILY IN THE HEART OF A FOOLISH MAN. Choose wisely!!!

This youthful nonsense must stop.

Politics is not as dirty as some people see it but am wondering how I will describe politics to my kids because there are too many blockheads and I mean way too many idiots getting into politics and sadly they believe in spewing all sort of nonsense and lies about their opponent to gain political advantage.(Am not sorry for my choice of words)

So many fine brains are shying away from politics because of these yet we expect this country to develop. Of what use is a educated fisherman in electricity company of Ghana board? Go to parliament and find out the caliber of people winning elections and you will feel sad where this country is heading. That is not to say we don't have smart ones in there but imagine all of these people have to sit on various committees and make decisions for me a you.

I am thrilled by certain people nominated by the president(his election into office is being challenged by my party and am in support 100%) to spearhead his government. These are professionals and smart brains in their fields and we only hope they will be able to do their job and not give meaning to Samuel Goldwyn's saying that "he will choose a smart idiot over a a stupid genius".

What do we see now? Just when the nominations came out people started digging and spewing all sort of rubbish about these fine brains. Prof Jane Agyemang all of a sudden is being called names but I ask can she do the work? Is she competent enough?
Raymond Atuguba's softer stands on gay right suddenly has become an issue just because he didn't make any recommendations after the constitutional review in that regard. Again is he competent for the job? Are you not tired of the Koku Anyidohos and Tony Aidoos ?
Nana Oye Lithur is in the news for all the foolish reasons just because she is a human right activist who sees the human on gays first but what seriously made me write this today is that stupid assertion that she is a lesbian. Hello is she sleeping with you or your mother. Has anyone accused her of any crime? What arrant nonsense! Is she competent enough?

Can't people just move away from this stupid way of politicking. Am sick and tired of this and funny enough am not hearing the Senior politicians spewing such rubbish but the youth. Seriously what is the future of this country? Almost every silly comment is coming from the youth. Am just ashamed and feel scandalized. Take a journey through all the young activist of political parties on Facebook and see the insults on people they don't even know, people they haven't even achieved half of what they have achieved in life nor have their parent even made it close to them.

Seriously we need to define and refine our politics . This youthful nonsense must stop . People need to grow up.
